STEM Hospitality owns and operates five distinct venues across London and the English countryside, from Coupette, a world-ranked cocktail bar in Bethnal Green, to Evesham Hotel & Spa, a sixteenth-century country house hotel in the Cotswolds. Every brand in our portfolio is one we run ourselves, front of house to back of house.
Coupette opened in Bethnal Green, East London, in 2017 as a neighbourhood cocktail bar built around French spirits and warm, unpretentious service. STEM Hospitality has managed its operations from day one, refining the back-of-house systems, procurement and talent pipeline that let a small bar compete on a world stage without losing the local charm that built its reputation.
The results speak for themselves. Coupette has ranked at #18 on The World’s 50 Best Bars list, and remains one of East London’s most in-demand cocktail bars, balancing global recognition with a loyal neighbourhood following.
Atelier Coupette is the more intimate, experimental expansion of the Coupette name into Soho, built for a faster-paced, later-night crowd without losing the craft and character of the original bar. STEM Hospitality led its launch end to end, from site acquisition through to an agile service model that flexes from after-work drinks to late-night trade.
The result is a second profitable, high-demand venue in one of London’s most competitive bar markets, proof that the Coupette concept scales without diluting what makes it distinctive.
BKC, short for Biryani, Kebab, Chai, brings the slow, intricate tradition of Awadhi dum cooking to London’s fast-paced dining scene. STEM Hospitality optimised production cycles and service design to preserve authentic flavour and technique while improving speed and consistency, and led the brand’s expansion from its original Marble Arch site to a flagship Soho location and on to Harrow.
The result is a multi-site Indian dining brand that proves heritage cuisine can scale without compromise, backed by the operational discipline and financial clarity STEM Hospitality builds into every venue it runs.
Evesham Hotel & Spa is a sixteenth-century mansion set within two and a half acres of manicured gardens at the gateway to the Cotswolds. The property pairs 37 en-suite bedrooms with The Cedar Restaurant, seating 60 covers, and a full-service spa offering Elemis treatments alongside an indoor heated pool.
Positioned to capture the region’s staycation and wellness demand, Evesham is run as a primary hub for regional Cotswolds tourism, balancing its historic Tudor character with a genuinely modern guest experience.
Banbury House Hotel is a Georgian-style landmark offering 64 en-suite bedrooms, including Executive Suites and family-ready interconnecting rooms, just off the M40. Its location gives corporate travellers, families and event guests a significant logistical advantage into Oxfordshire and the wider region.
STEM Hospitality runs Banbury House as a full-service commercial hub, with multi-channel revenue through the Banbury Kitchen, wedding hosting for up to 150 guests and a dedicated three-suite conference centre, all built on strong community ties and a robust corporate delegate base.
